Sky diving for Samaritans

THREE very brave second year students from Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD), Michelle Eustace, Sarah Dowling, and Sophia Condon are set to get their heads in the clouds for a very special Easter skydive in aid of Samaritans Limerick and Tipperary branch.
Explained skydiver Michelle,
“I met volunteers from Samaritans at a stand in LSAD during Mental Health Week and was really impressed with the work they do,” explained skydiver Michelle.
“The next day I was talking to Sophia, who said a skydive was always on her bucket list, and the idea was born from there.”
The three friends got together to plan the event and agreed to raise money for Samaritans.
Lorraine Thornbury, director of Samaritans Limerick and Tipperary, said: “I think it’s amazing what these students want to do for us. Our branch is 100 per cent voluntary so all money raised will go directly into the costs of running our branch to keep the phonelines open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
