STUDENTS, staff, and parents of Limerick’s newest secondary school will hit the catwalk in the Castletroy Park Hotel on Thursday January 19 for a good cause.
A showcase of fashion and glam will be on the menu in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd for Limerick Educate Together Secondary School’s (LETSS) inaugural fashion show, in association with the Holman Lee Agency.
Winter and spring collections from a host of local stores will feature on top of a shopping experience for guests with local craft, retail, and jewellery makers in attendance.
The event is held in aid of local Limerick children’s charity Eoin Shinners, which provides child-centred therapy for children and adolescents who have been affected by sexual abuse, as well as being part of a series of events to help raise funds for a school minibus.
LETSS prinicpal Eoin Shinners said there is a great buzz of excitement ahead of the show.
“We’re thrilled to be working closely with Holman Lee Agency for our first fashion show and, more importantly, to use the event to raise awareness about children and adolescent sexual abuse. Our dedicated staff are working around the clock preparing for the fashion show and we can’t wait to see our students together with staff and parents take to the catwalk.”
Tickets for the show can be purchased via Eventbrite or from the school office on 061 457 595. Doors open from 7pm with a prosecco reception.
