Or Do you want to progress your career by gaining or refreshing a third level QQI qualificationwhich is fully or 90% Funded by Springboard – part-time / blended / online?
Paulo did just that – read his honest account of his experience and let his story help you to improve or transform your life through education.
Innopharma Education have been running programmes in Limerick since
2014. Over the course of the past 8 years we have added a number of
programmes at level 6, 7, 8 and 9. The programmes are run parttime and
blended -2 nights per week online and 1 Saturday per month in a
classroom for practical assignments and 1 Saturday per month online.
This flexibility enables people with very busy lives to complete and
continue their formal higher level education right up to Masters level
whilst working as you will see referenced in many of the testimonials of
students featured here.
All Innopharma Education programmes are a minimum of 60 credit awards says Mary Jo Parker Business Development and Industry Liaison Manager – this is a very important factor when people are considering upskilling as often they do not understand how many
credits apply for the programme they are considering. “I try to simplify
this for people says Mary Jo by explaining when someone goes to college
each year is 60 credits – so therefore a 3 year ordinary degree is 180
credits and a 4 year honours degree is 240 credits. If a person is
intending to continue their education to get a full level 6, 7, or 8
award – they need to be checking the credit value of that programme.
All our programmes are 60 credit with a number of pathways to continue to
the next level”. Future Proof Your Career by upskilling in the area of
Digital Transformation. In 2020 we introduced new Digital Transformation
programmes at Level 6 and level 9 with levels 7 and 8 currently under
development. Many organisations are now developing their strategies and
plans for their digital transformation journey, with the Industry 4.0
transition underway across Ireland’s advanced manufacturing and support
services sector. This means that many companies are now in the process
of incorporating digital technologies into their work practices,
resulting in a move away from paper based systems to digital formats.
Further stages in the digital journey will involve the linking of
processes through IT and cloud based technologies, providing companies
with real time information and data in order to make decisions and plan
work strategies. These advances in technology will require a workforce
with new skills, empowering them to work effectively with increased
levels of technology, automation, data, and process knowledge.
Operators and Technicians now need new and advanced skills and this will become
more evident with every passing year and it is important that people who
want to be part of this of this change and secure their employability
into the future have the skills to do so. We are currently recruiting

“We invite anyone interested to contact us on 061 639186 or email us on Limerick@ innopharmalabs.com
We will contact each person one to one, says Mary Jo Parker, Business
Development Manager with Innopharma Education and invites anyone
interested to call in to meet the team in Maldron Hotel in Roxboro
between 4pm and 8pm on Tuesday 29th November to discuss your options on
a one to one basis. Mary Jo advises “previous students of our programmes
typically secure employment within three to six months of completing our
programme with some students securing employment during the programme as
the flexible programme delivery enables them to continue with the
programme which Employers are generally only too happy to support”. She
adds “that those already in employment are also supported and encouraged
by Employers to complete upskilling programmes”. Mary Jo also indicates
that all of Innopharma Education’s programmes put a very strong focus on
coaching for Personal and Career Coaching at both group and one to one
level. This support includes intensive work on the preparing and
tailoring of a ‘fit for purpose CV’, preparing for interview, focusing
on how to job search in the current marketplace or coaching for Career
Development to those who are currently working but seeking to either
change direction or to progress their careers within their existing
organisations. The feedback we consistently get from our course
participants is that this aspect of the course is invaluable as you will
see from the student quotes included in this article

“I Moved from Portugal to Ireland to get a better quality of life and needed a
change in career from logistics with Lidl – successfully secured a role
with SSE”
I moved to Ireland from Portugal in 2020 to get a better quality of life, a good job and with the intention of further educating
myself after completing my leaving certificate in 2005.I chose the Level
6 Operational Excellence for Process Digitisation programme because I needed a change from my career in logistics with Lidl and was aware that there were lots of good opportunities in the Biopharmaceutical,
Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sector in Ireland and I knew this
would require me upskilling, I needed a solid foundation of knowledge
for this sector and Innopharma Education provided that for me.
Additionally, the online aspect of the course allowed me to be able to
balance my work, my personal life and allow time to attend the on-line
classes and study. Halfway through the course I applied for a new job
and the additional support on my CV and Interview techniques along with
the content of course meant that I was successful in securing a role
with SSE (Specialized Sterile Environments) at Regeneron. The content of
the course is very relevant, and this came through in the interview and
in the job itself. I was able to understand the processes, concepts and
use my newly acquired knowledge to participate in problem solving in my
new roles. Innopharma Education came along at the right time for me, and
I have no hesitation in recommending this programme to anyone.
