LIMERICK artist Claire Heffernan will release her new single ‘Gemini’ on November 17.
Following the success of her debut single ‘Snow Moon’ earlier this year, (No.1 the iTunes singer/songwriter charts), the new single is a breakup song that captures the power in choosing to set oneself free and live life on one’s own terms.
Claire studied music to Masters level, graduating first in her class. With her harp and voice she has entertained at the world-famous Bunratty Castle banquets and is much sought after nationwide as ‘Ireland’s Best Wedding Musician’, a title held for three years consecutively.
Most recently, she worked with Peter Foott, creator of The Young Offenders, on a feature film (TBA). In 2022, she turned focus toward her long-awaited original music.
‘Gemini’ is the lead single from her debut EP ‘Young Heart’, to be released in 2023. This 4-track EP, with its ballads of heartache and healing, has been described as Celtic-ethereal-pop-with-a-hint-of-folk.
