TUESDAY, November 1 is the feast of All Saints and to mark the occasion, there will be a Family Tree Mass in St Michael’s Church on Denmark Street in Limerick City at 7pm.
The relics of several saints will be on display at the ceremony including those of St Padre Pio, St Therese, St Philomena and St Gemma Galgani.
“It promises to be a beautiful day to have the privilege to pray for these powerful intercessors,” a spokesperson for the Padre Pio Prayer Group told the Limerick Post.
“The Mass will be offered for healing of our family tree for families affected by suicide and drug addiction.”
Celebrant of the mass will be Fr Oisin of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Moyross.
All proceeds will go towards the restoration of the statue of St Michael the Archangel.
