AFTER a summer of sold out festival appearances where they delighted audiences with interpretations of Aphex Twin amongst others, Glasshouse Ensemble will perform a very special show at St. Flannan’s Cathedral, Killaloe this Friday October 7.
The award winning classical ensemble will be performing Golden Hour, a mixture of music by crowd favourites including Kate Bush, Bowie, Phoebe Bridgers, Prince, Big Thief, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Olafur Arnalds, Sakamoto, LCD Soundsystem and others.
Glasshouse Producer Michael Stone said “Festival favourites Glasshouse are excited to present a selection of favourites, songs that inspire and delight us. The concert will feature new arrangements of songs by the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Bjork, Phoebe Bridgers, LCD Soundsystem, Adrianne Lenker.”
They will be joined on the night by singer/songwriter Síomha, warming the crowd up with her folk, jazz and neo-soul infused sounds.
