SET UP at the tail end of the first Covid-19 lockdown in August 2020, the crafty crew at Foxy Locks hair salon are celebrating their second birthday in style.
The salon, which offers a wide and wonderful range of haircare services to glamorous gals all across Limerick, was started by owner and senior stylist Tammie Cousins with nothing but a shop, a dream, and a whole lot of hope (and stress).
Two years later, the award-nominated Caherdavin salon boasts three senior stylists, a full-time make-up artist, and a number of trainees.
Foxy Locks offer a full suite of stylish services including hair cutting and curling, 12-week blow dries and platinum extensions, and wedding or debs styling sessions.
Customer satisfaction is the number one priority for Tammie and her team, a fact made evident in their chirpy motto: “where clients become friends”.
Tammie and the gang – with over 50 years of combined styling and hair-dressing experience – have also recently added make-up services to their lavish offerings.
Despite their wealth of experience and success, the team at Foxy Locks are always looking to build and grow, with Tammie noting how her team are constantly attending up-skilling courses to keep up with all the latest trends and fashions. Their dedication to ongoing improvement is clearly paying off, with the crew reaching the final of both the Tia Maria Hairstyle Awards and the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards in 2022.
