An Open Information and Advice Seminar will be hosted by the Mid West Parkinson’s branch on Sunday August 28 in the Long Court Hotel, Newcastle West, County Limerick, from 2–5pm.
The programme includes keynote addresses by consultant neurologist Dr Helena Moore, exercise practitioner Frank Fahey, specialist Parkinson’s nurse Mags Richardsons, and nutritional therapist Arina McSweeney. Each speaker will be followed by an open Q&A.
This open event, free to the public, will provide the answers to many questions those with Parkinson’s and their families – as well as those experiencing some symptoms but may be undiagnosed – may have.
There will also be time to meet Mid West branch’s committee members, as well as some of their community members.
More information on the Mid West branch, or how to register for the event, is available on the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland website.
