LIMERICK WWE Star Becky Lynch earned her chance to reclaim her Raw Women’s Championship belt last night by defeating her Japanese opponent Asuka on WWE Raw.
Lynch got her revenge against Askua last night after being defeated by her last week. The two wrestlers have become rivals since Askua’s return to the WWE, and she had beaten Lynch in their last three one-on-one meetings.
The two will now face each other again in a triple threat match against current Raw Women champion, Bianca Belair.
Lynch lost her title to Belair last month at Wrestlemania and has promised to make a comeback ever since. She won that opportunity last night and has booked her place in a triple threat match at WWE: Hell in a Cell against Belair and Asuka on June 5.
Lynch has had a very successful career as a professional wrestler. In April 2019, she was crowned a WWE double champion at Wrestlemania 35, after defeating Rhonda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match. She was drafted to Raw in 2021 and has become very popular with fans of WWE.
