The Limerick Senior Camogie squad are in action this weekend against Galway while the Junior team meet Armagh in their championship opener.
The seniors open their championship campaign with a tough assignment as they face defending champions Galway on Saturday at 3.30pm in Pearse Stadium.
Manager John Lillis and his side are still in search of their first win this season, losing all four games in the league and being relegated to division 2.
Limerick also fell at the hands of Tipperary in the Munster Championship.
The Treaty women will have to travel to Pearse Stadium to face the daunting Galway side that has been so impressive in recent years.
Limerick have suffered at the hands of Galway in four successive season across both league and championship.

The match-up will be the first of five group games for the Shannonsiders.
A week after the Galway fixture, Limerick play away to 2020 All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.
Limerick have back to back home games then, the first against Offaly and two weeks later vs Down.
Rounding off the group stages lies a trip to Antrim. The top three teams from the group progress. The group winners advance straight to the semi-finals while the second and third place move into the quarters.
Limerick’s Junior Camogie team also launch their championship this Saturday against Armagh in Bruff at 2pm.
Last year’s junior team made it to the league semi-final which they lost to Wexford 3-12 to 1-5. They followed this up by reaching the same stage in the championship where they were beaten by Armagh.
The junior side reached the final in 2019 but were beaten by Kerry in the decider. In 2020, they were controversially axed from the championship a week from their opener with teams ruled ineligible to field two teams across the three grades.
Roscommon, Down and Antrim await in the next rounds with the top two from each group progressing to the All-Ireland semi-finals.
