FOLLOWING completion of remedial measures and satisfactory monitoring results, Irish Water has confirmed that the boil water notice issued to customers on the Rathkeale public water supply network on April 13 is now lifted with immediate effect.
The decision follows a series of satisfactory monitoring results and consultation with the Health Service Executive.
All consumers can resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
Operations Lead for Irish Water, Duane O’Brien thanked the local community for their patience, co-operation and assistance during the period of the boil water notice.
