The Collison brothers created Stripe, a low-cost way for small companies to accept online payments in 2009. They share 214th place overall on the list, up from 956th a year ago. Since 2021, their estimated wealth shot up by $3.6 billion.
Pallonji Mistry, head of the Shapoorji Pallonji Construction Group, is top of the Irish list with a net worth of $15 billion.
There were other Irish names on the rich list, like businessman Denis O’Brien, worth $3.8 billion and Eugene Murtagh, worth $2.8 billion.
Elon Musk tops the overall list, with a net worth of $219 billion. Pop star Rihanna makes the list for the first time, with a net worth of $1.7 billion.
