TWO major private housing developments are due to commence within the next few months in Patrickswell.
Welcoming the construction projects as a positive indication of sustained growth in the area, local Independent Councillor Fergus Kilcoyne said there was also the possibility of another 100 private houses being built in the locality next year.
“The first 110 houses are within the village confines and will be will be carried out in three different stages. The other private development of 36 detached houses are based in Barnakyle on the Limerick side of the village,”
“This is great news for many local families with their children wishing to purchase homes in the area they were brought up in,” he added.
