T.A. Narrative, aka Tara and Anna from 00’s Indie-pop band We Should Be Dead have released a string of strong singles in the last two years,
First single ‘Playful Resister’ dropped in 2020 followed by ‘Lifting you Higher’ and the 80’s influenced floor filler ‘Braver’.
Parliament Square’s debut release ‘Forest Fire’, recorded by Owen Lewis (Snow Patrol / REM) was featured on national radio (RTE 1, London XFM), while ‘In My House’ was featured on the Limerick City of Culture “Pigtown Fling”, produced by Noel Hogan.
Parliament Square are currently recording new material for a 2022 release.
John Steele released two well received solo albums during lockdown and also plays with Limerick band The Flag Listeners
Well-respected singer-songwriter dREA fronted Limerick band Vesta Varro. He has expanded on that band’s guitar-based influences on his solo album ‘Bravest of All’ recorded with Canadian producer Giuliano Baglioni, who has worked on various projects with the legendary Daniel Lanois.
Speaking in advance of Friday’s Gig for Ukraine, Neil Dolan of Dolans Presents said: “We are delighted to be able to host this event which will raise much needed funds for those affected by the current situation in Ukraine. The line-up of respected Limerick musicians promises to be a very special evening and we hope that Limerick audiences will support this worthwhile fundraising event”.
