THE launch of Conn & Anne Kirby (JP Mc Manus) took place at the Limerick Greyhound Stadium last Monday, 21st.
GAA clubs from all over Limerick will switch from the grass pitches to the golden sand as dogs race each Saturday for the coming weeks.
Each club will be represented by one dog, with around seventy eight dogs in total representing hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and handball clubs.
We spoke to Orla Stumble (Greyhound Racing Ireland), Noel Earlie (Martinstown), John Cregan (Limerick GAA) and Brian Godfrey (Limerick Greyhound Stadium) all about the event, the importance of the McManus family and the how important it is for the GAA.
