A MINI heatwave is set to hit Ireland this week, with a temperature of 17C hitting certain areas across the country.
Limerick will be one of the hotter locations, with temperatures reaching 16C today, rivaling some of Europe’s hottest spots like the Algarve in Portugal, which is hitting temperatures of 15C.
