LIMERICK head to Ennis this Sunday seeking their first win of the League.
Cusack Park beckons for John Kiely’s Limerick side this weekend as they take on Clare in the fourth round of the National Hurling League.
Limerick are yet to win in the League this year, falling to Wexford, Galway and Cork thus far. Clare on the other hand have own just one game, that coming against Offaly who are bottom of the table.
Both sides will be desperate for the win with another clash in the championship coming in May.
Limerick already have one victory over the Banner this year in the Munster Hurling Cup final but the Treaty side have seen their form dip.
This years Limerick side have looked a shell of last years in recent weeks, however it does have potential to come back stronger with Kiely’s side focusing on each game as they come.
Highlighting this week’s clash with Clare, Kiely is looking for positive perfromance.
“Our focus each week is on that week, we’re just focusing on working as hard as we can each week, producing the best performance we can at the weekend, of the three games thus far we’d be satisfied with only one of those performances.
“Our focus this week will shift to the game next Sunday and heading to Ennis and trying to put in the best performance we possibly can down there and that’s the bottom line.
