THE game was scheduled to kick off tonight at 7.30pm.
Treaty United’s SSE Airtricity League First Division clash with Athlone Town tonight has been postponed it has been confirmed by the League.
The decision was made after the recent weather conditions made the surface at the Markets Field unplayable.
Treaty would have been looking to follow on from their impressive start to the season when they hit Wexford FC for five in last weekend’s 5-1 drubbing.
Athlone were beaten 5-2 by Waterford at home in their season opener.
The game will now be rescheduled for a later date.
Next up for Tommy Barrett’s men is a trip to Cobh Ramblers on Friday March 5.
