THE Limerick man who died when his motorbike collided with a wall and a metal fence in Southill last Sunday afternoon is to be laid to rest this Friday.
26-year-old Anthony ‘Douey’ McCormack from Derrynane, Old Cork Road is survived by a son and daughter, partner, mother, siblings and a large group of friends.
His remains will lie in repose at Cross’ Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick, from 2 to 4pm tomorrow. Funeral Mass takes place at 11am at St John’s Cathedral, Cathedral Place, on Friday, followed by burial in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those with video footage to contact Roxboro Road Garda Station (061) 214340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
