STRIKER Matt McKevitt has left Treaty United after one season to re-join Tipperary junior side Peake Villa.
McKevitt made 18 appearances for the Limerick side in his only season to date at League of Ireland level and came to prominence with both Peake and UCC at Collingwood Cup level.
Treaty United paid tribute to the striker and thanked him for his efforts during the team’s maiden season.
McKevitt was largely used as an impact substitute during his time with the club but he was a very useful player for Tommy Barrett until an unfortunate injury curtailed his season and saw him miss out on the whole play-off campaign. During a three-game winning spell against Bray, Wexford and Cobh, McKevitt was heavily involved and scored against the latter.
He will be a huge addition for Peake Villa who are currently vying with St. Michaels for the Tipperary Premier Division title and currently sit in third place.
