LIMERICK begin the defence of the title they won in 2020 this Wednesday.
Billy Lee has included a number of new faces in his first Limerick team of the year as his side travel to Austin Stack Park Tralee in the McGrath Cup opener this Wednesday at 7pm.
While there are plenty of new names in the team, Donal OโSullivan will provide much experience in captaining the side from goals.
Maurice OโSullivan, Jim Liston and Luke Murphy make up the full back line with Tony McCarthy, Cillian Fahy and Colm McSweeney in front of them.
Darragh Treacey is joined by Adrian Enright in midfield. Padraig De Bruin, James Naughton and Dara Noonan are named in the half forward line with Peter Nash and the Bourke brothers, Hugh and Robbie complete the line up.
Just six of the sides started the Munster semi-final with Cork in June in the form of OโSullivan, Fahy Treacey, Enright and the Bourkes. James Naughton was introduced from the bench that day.
Among the substitutes tomorrow, Aaron OโSullivan is the only player with previous intercounty experience with a number set for their debut.
Limerick play Tipperary in their second game this Sunday in Mick Neville Park at 2pm.
