As well as walk-in clinics taking place across the region in the coming days, the Mid-West Covid-19 Vaccination Centres are among the first in the country to use the SwiftQueue self-scheduler, which is available at this linkhttps://bit.ly/3qfRcbs

This allows eligible members of the public book a vaccination appointment in advance. Registration portals for vaccination open a number of days prior to the clinics. Self-scheduling clinics for the under 30s who received a Janssen primary course are taking place across all three centres in the MidWest this Sunday, January 2 and can be booked in advance at the above link. Walk-In Clinics for under 30s who received a primary Janssen dose are also taking place this Sunday (see details below).

Walk-in booster clinics also continue at all three centres—Scoil Carmel, Limerick; West County Hotel, Ennis; Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh—in line with national guidance, for people in the 30+ years age group.

In Limerick, there is a free shuttle bus service running between the Southcourt Hotel, Raheen, and the vaccination centre at Scoil Carmel, every half-hour between 8am and 7.30pm. Limited parking is available onsite, with additional parking at the nearby former Moloney’s Garage at Punch’s Cross, from which there is easy pedestrian access to Scoil Carmel.

Details of all walk-in clinics are available on the HSE website at this link – https://bit.ly/3e0gtRj – which is updated regularly as new clinics are added, and should be checked by people who wish to be vaccinated but are unable to attend this week’s walk-in clinics for Booster doses and primary Dose 1 and 2 vaccination.

People aged 16 years and older should not attend for a Booster dose until three months (90 days) have elapsed since you received your Dose 2 vaccine. Anyone in this age group who had the single-dose Janssen vaccine must also wait at least three months before attending for a Booster dose. Anyone who has had a Covid-19 positive result in the last three months should not attend for a Booster dose, in line with the latest national guidance.
