LIMERICK hurling Captain Declan Hannon has joined forces with former Dublin footballer Alan Brogan to launch the Sicsock.com gift box collection in support of homeless charity Novas.
Founded by ecommerce specialists Eoghan Carroll, Paul McGurran and Limerick businessman Declan O’Connor, Sicsock began trading in March of this year, right in the depths of a global pandemic.
Their socks are designed at their base in the Groody Business Centre, Castletroy and manufactured in Europe using the finest quality materials.
And for every pair of socks sold through their website, they match that sale and donate another pair of socks to homeless charities.
Commenting at the launch of his Limerick Signature Collection, Declan Hannon said “this is a very exciting venture for me and in particular to be involved with Alan Brogan.
He said that a key component of his partnership with Sicsock was the socially conscious element. “It’s a proud moment to be able to help Novas, particularly at this time of year and to help support their work. Also to see my collection along sides Alan, who has done so much for Dublin GAA, is a real honour,” he explained.
SicSock.com has expanded beyond its sports themed products to include hiking, outdoor and luxury cashmere, woollen and dress socks.
