THE draw for the first round of the 2021/22 FAI Junior Cup has been made with three Limerick sides still in contention.
Defending champions Fairview Rangers will have home advantage when they welcome Clonmel Town in the 5th round of the FAI Centenary Cup. Fairview claimed a ninth ever title last September, defeating Usher in the decider 1-0 thanks to a Clyde O’Connell effort.
Limerick’s other remaining sides, Pike Rovers and Regional United will be on the road. Pike will travel to Athy while Regional head to Galway to face Athenry.
Each of the fifth round games will be played on the weekend of January 15/16 with the winners advancing to the last 16.
