MUNSTER claimed a number of prizes at Friday night’s Rugby Players Ireland awards.
Dorothy Wall won the Women’s Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year while Gavin Coombes won the Nevin Spence Men’s Young Player of the Year award.
Robbie Henshaw was named Men’s Player of the Year, Béibhinn Parsons won the Women’s Try of the Year Award for her effort against Wales in the Six Nations and JJ Hanrahan’s try for Munster against Cardiff won the Men’s Try of the Year.
CJ Stander accepted the Moment of the Year Award on behalf of his former Irish teammates for their victory over England in the final round of the Six Nations. The occasion also marked Stander’s last outing in green.
Lucy Mulhall won the Irish Women’s 7s Player of the Year with Olympian Terry Kennedy claiming the Irish Men’s 7s Player of the Year for a third time.
The Contribution to Irish Society award was presented to Tommy Bowe.
