UL Hospitals Group vaccinators will open Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Clinics for 60-69-year-olds this weekend, and continue to run separate walk-in clinics for anyone in the Mid-West who has not yet received their primary Dose 1 or Dose 2 vaccines.
The Walk-in COVID-19 Vaccine Booster clinics for 60-69s will be held at the Mid-West COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Limerick Racecourse this coming Sunday, and continue on Monday at the former OPD at Ennis Hospital, and the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh, as follows.

There is no appointment for these Walk-In Booster Vaccine Clinics, which will deliver a single booster dose of the Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. These clinics are for 60-69 year-olds only – no other age groups are permitted. Please note also that five months (152 days) should have elapsed since you received your Dose 2 vaccine before attending for a Booster.

As with other vaccine clinics, anyone attending these walk-in clinics should bring their vaccine record card, and also bring identification, either their birth certificate or a valid photo ID (such as driving licence, Public Services Card, travel pass, passport, Garda-issued National Age Card, or school or college ID). Anyone who has had a COVID-19 positive result in the last 6 months should not attend for a booster vaccine.
People should note that they may experience delays when attending a walk-in clinic.

There will be three Walk-In Dose 1 and Dose 2 Vaccine Clinics this weekend, starting from tomorrow, Friday. These are strictly for Dose 1 and Dose 2 vaccines, and should not be attended by anyone seeking a third vaccine dose. The Walk-In Dose 1 and Dose 2 clinics will be held at the Mid-West COVID-19 Vaccination Centres in Ennis (Friday), Nenagh (Saturday) and Limerick (Sunday), as follows:

Anyone attending a walk-in clinic for Dose 2 should bring their vaccine record card. A minimum of 21 days must have passed after Pfizer Dose 1 before Dose 2 is administered. The interval is 28 days for people who have received AstraZeneca/Moderna Dose 1 and are presenting for Pfizer Dose 2.
Please note that anyone presenting, whether for Dose 1 or Dose 2, and who has received a COVID-positive test result, should not attend for vaccination until 28 days after the date of the COVID-positive result.
No appointment is necessary for these walk-in clinics, and there is no requirement to register on the national vaccine registration portal.However, children under 16 years must be accompanied to centres by a parent or guardian.
