A ROADSIDE plaque at Fedamore Cross, County Limerick to commemorate a young man who lost his life in a traffic accident at the location was vandalised last week.

Gardaí at Ballyneety and Roxboro Road are investigating the incident, which has caused great hurt to the family of Jason Nash, who was killed in the 2006 accident.

Last Friday, October 8, witnesses reported to gardaí that a group of men were seen at the plaque at around 9.30pm. The plaque was torn from the wall and dumped about 50 yards up the road.
