What They’ve Won | A look through the achievements of the current Limerick Hurlers

AFTER a number of barren years in the county, John Kiely’s current crop of Limerick hurlers have amassed an amount of accolades since his arrival in 2017.

Less than a fortnight, Kiely’s men completed an unprecedented back to back of All-Ireland titles to add to the Liam MacCarthy title they won in 2018.

With Limerick greats like Ciaran Carey, Gary Kirby, Mark Foley and Donal O’Grady ending their careers without a Celtic Cross medal, most of the current crop now have three at their disposal.

The current side have won so much in the game already with the majority far removed from any thoughts of retirement.

Below we look at the already storied careers of the 2021 All-Ireland final matchday squad with an array of silverware between them ahead of their return to club action this weekend.
