MUSIC Network’s September 2021 tour features the much-anticipated new traditional/electronic music collaboration between vocalist Iarla Ó Lionáird, harper and sound artist Úna Monaghan and cellist Kevin Murphy. The trio will perform together for the first time on this tour, visiting the Lime Tree Theatre on Friday 3 September at 8pm.

A renowned master of the Sean Nós singing tradition and member of supergroup The Gloaming, Iarla Ó Lionáird is one of Ireland’s most distinctive voices. Defiantly unclassifiable, his performances stretch from folk to opera, transcending anything that might box him in as one thing or another.

Úna Monaghan is a highly respected harper and sound artist. With a degree in astrophysics, she has steered an intriguing course through the worlds of science and the arts, and constantly challenges the boundaries of her instrument through electronic technologies.
