LESS than two years ago, the first Habit Coffee + Retail shop popped up on O’Connell Street in Limerick.
At the time, the small shop with just one staff member was one of the first to offer extensive brewing equipment and specialty coffee to the Limerick City area. This gap in the market created an opportunity to bring coffee and retail together, offering the first on-demand grinding service.
Throughout last year’s Covid restrictions, Habit served their customers with the highest quality product day in and day out. People soon recognised the talent of the expanding team, and it soon became the staple of the town’s morning caffeine need.
Since then, they’ve expanded their retail section to offer the best coffee machines on the market, all the equipment and gadgets, coffee commodities and tools.
With a growing team and a growing customer base, Habit Coffee + Retail expanded and opened their second store on Limerick’s busiest shopping street, Thomas Street, and the newest one of all, Galway Cross Street Shop.
Their latest venture saw them starting their own coffee bean line that is now successfully selling in all three of their shops.
