JOHN Kiely’s side were well represented on the Sunday Game Team of the Year which was chosen on the programme in the wake of yesterday’s All-Ireland final.

Five Limerick defenders were chosen with two time All-Star Dan Morrissey missing out after only starting two games this summer.
William O’Donoghue was chosen in midfield alongside Tony Kelly.
Cork’s Jack O’Connor was picked beside five Limerick forwards with reigning Hurler of the Year Gearoid Hegarty omitted.
Unsurprisingly, All-Ireland final man of the match Cian Lynch was picked as Hurler of the Year.
