THE Limerick minor footballers will take on Clare in Cusack Park today (July 30th) at 7:30pm in the Munster Minor Football semi-final.
Excitement is building within the Limerick minor football camp, as the Kevin Denihan coached side prepare to fight for their first Munster Minor Football final appearance since 1998. Limerick will take on last years finalists Clare, this evening in Cusack Park.
“You could see that they were all buzzing and the players were flying around the place, there was just an energy off them. That’s what happens when you get a big win and you know you’ve another game out”
However Limerick face a big challenge in the form of Clare, a home advantage gives the banner a significant edge as a limited number of fans will now be allowed attend.
“Outside of Cork and Kerry, Clare have been over the past few years getting to Munster finals a lot of the time, so they certainly will be looking at it as a big opportunity to get there agin by beating Limerick in their home patch in Cusack Park”
