LIMERICK sporting star Oisin O’Callaghan was on RTÉ’s Nationwide last night
In February, O’Callaghan was awarded the RTÉ Young Sportsperson of the Year gong after becoming the first Irish person to win a Junior World Downhill Mountain Bike Cup in in late 2020.
The 18-year-old featured on the weekly programme to discuss his experience of the sport.
In an interview with Sporting Limerick earlie this year, O’Callghan spoke about his love of the sport.
“People ask me, ‘when did you know you wanted to do this?’
As long as I remember, since I was really young, in primary school, this is what I wanted to do. Be a world champion.
Also featured was a young Limerick skater to chat about his involvement in the sport.
