MUNSTER ‘A’ are set to play the Ireland U20s this Friday at the Sport Ireland Campus in Dublin.
Munster Rugby’s Cian Whooley (UCC RFC), Daniel Okeke (Shannon RFC), Jamie Shanahan (Garryowen FC), Alan Flannery (Shannon RFC), Aaron Leahy (Garryowen FC), Mark Donnelly (Garryowen FC), Jack Kelleher (UCC RFC) and Alex Kendellen (UCC RFC) all featured for the Ireland U20s last week in their 14-14 draw against Leinster A.
They will now take on their provincial teammates in a friendly match on Friday to try and further impress head coach Richie Murphy.
In other Munster Rugby news, the men in red will have no game this weekend but are still training in UL ahead of June 11ths key Rainbow Cup fixture against Zebre.
Benetton currently lead the league table following their 20-12 defeat of Connacht on Saturday evening. The Italians are 4/4 from in the Rainbow Cup and if they win their final game away to the Ospreys they will progress to the final against one of the South African franchises.
Should Kieran Crowley’s side lose wihout a bonus point then any kind of Munster win against Zebre could see them top the table.
