Limerick music promoters Bad Reputation raise thousands for charity with their Kickin’ & Streamin’ series.

Bad Reputation IRL promoters John Real and Ciaran Culhane ran the recent Kickin' & Streamin' series of gigs recorded at Dolan’s Warehouse.

LIMERICK promoters Bad Reputation IRL have raised the profile of the city with the international metal community curating live shows in the last 15 years that have attracted the likes of Amon Amarth, Napalm Death and Behemoth to perform in Dolan’s Warehouse and King John’s Castle.

€6,348 has been raised for charity through their series of streamed shows over the last 12 months including the new four part series called Kickin’ & Streamin’.

John Real of Bad Reputation IRL explains, “Bad Rep ran a limited series of streamed gigs over April and May with some fine Irish Metal bands in tow, the added bonus being each band was fundraising for a charity of their choosing.”

The high quality visual and sound production of this series of streams gained large audience numbers for the bands Brigantia, Scathed, Aponym and Arjuna’s Eye and raised money for charities such as Jigsaw Tipperary, Aoibhneas – Domestic Abuse Support for Women and Children, Limerick Marine Search And Rescue Service and Irish Guide Dogs For The Blind.

“All of the above was made possible with support of a solid venue in Dolans and by the support of the dedicated heavy metal fans who support Bad Rep.” adds John.
