YOUNG limerick boy Padraig O’Callaghan from Knockainey in County Limerick received a shoutout from Ireland captain Seamus Coleman during the week commending the young boys positive impact across social platforms.
Padraig who has Down Syndrome has had an instant impact amongst social media and has gone viral in recent weeks with his weekly ‘Monday Motivation Paudcast’.
The weekly segment takes place every Monday lasting a minute long which includes messages of positivity that is published on EcoStraw.
The 10yr old started the podcast as Padraigs father Brian felt it would assist in the young boys confidence and could ultimately improve his communication skills.
The podcast has attracted many admirers and this week one of those admirers was Everton and Ireland star Seamus Coleman.
The Sligo man was named permanent Ireland captain in September 2016 and has made more than 300 appearances for Everton at club level while earning 59 appearances for the Irish National team.
Coleman who also captains the Merseyside Premier League team looked to be impressed and delighted by Padraigs content and positivity as he sent the young man who is inspiring so many a heartfelt message on Twitter supporting the young boys cause.
Unbelievable gesture by @Everton & @FAIreland captain @seamiecoleman23 to surprise Pádraig with this!
