TREATY United manager Tommy Barrett was delighted to secure the victory against Athlone Town on Friday night. Jack Lynch’s goal in the first-half was enough to secure the win and Barret felt his side were good value for the victory.
“I thought we were the better team and if not in pure possession then certainly on chances created we were and we soaked up whatever they threw at us. I think we looked comfortable to be fair and I don’t think they created too much while we could have scored another couple of goals.”
