SHANNON Group CEO, Mary Considine, has called today’s announcement by An Tánaiste of the establishment by Renovo Motors Inc of a new EMEA HQ at Shannon and the creation of 30 jobs, another important step in the development of Shannon Free Zone as a testbed for the automotive technology industry.
Welcoming Renovo Ireland to the Shannon Campus, Ms Considine said: “Innovation is in Shannon Group’s DNA, that is why as a partner of Future Mobility Campus Ireland (FMCI), we are delighted to welcome Renovo Ireland to Shannon Free Zone.
As a not-for-profit company, FMCI’s mission is to create a future mobility testbed for Connected Autonomous Vehicles at the Shannon Free Zone. We are looking forward to seeing this cutting-edge technology grow and deliver a cluster of new industries at our Shannon Group Campus, and today’s announcement by Renovo of the establishment of a new EMEA HQ is another welcome step in this journey.
