LIMERICK singer/songwriter Martyn Cosgrave has achieved a Number One hit with his debut single ‘If You Could Read My Mind’ this week.
After a break from the music industry to focus on bringing up his daughter and son, the You’re A Star Contestant and Eurovision singer has been working tirelessly over the last two years to bring his debut solo single to fruition which features contributions from Fran Curry and Van Morrison’s guitarist, Dave Keary.
Martyn was a contestant on ‘You’re A Star’ 2004 as part of four-piece boy band Final4 and as a result, he has been lucky enough to travel the world through music.
Martyn represented Ireland in Eurovision as a backing vocalist for Chris Doran and in the same year he toured with Westlife during their Red-Carpet Tour. He made a special guest appearance on RTEs Coulter & Company with Leo Sayer and John Spillane to name a few as well as an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show’.
