WE are at the quarter-final stages of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial after two exciting weekends of Heats.
There are just 24 dogs left with the quarter-finals taking place this Saturday evening at the Limerick Greyhound track.
Explosive Boy is the favourite at 5/1 winning her heat in the opening night and finishing 3rd last weekend.
The Pat Guilfoyle trained dog represents Askeaton and is in Heat 1 on Saturday.
The next three favourites are all in an intriguing Heat 3. Singalong Sally (Kileedy) is 2nd favourite to win outright at 7/1 just ahead of Ballymac Ariel (Doon) and Deadly Destroyer (South Liberties) who are both priced at 8/1.
Ballysteen representative Fabulous Azzura was the fastest performer of the second round as she maintained her unbeaten record in the stake and she is available at odds of 10/1. She is in Heat 4 on Saturday. Also available at 10/1 is Ahane representative Bombardier who is in Heat 2.
