PA Ranahan caught up with the joint captains of the Limerick Senior Football team Iain Corbett and Donal O’Sullivan to discuss the 2020 season and look ahead to 2021.
Fresh of the announcement that intercounty training would resume on April 19, the trio reflected on the time training alone and the excitement to get back on the field.
After a stellar 2020 season that saw them earn promotion to Division 3 and push eventual Munster champions Tipperary all the way in the championship, Corbett and O’Sullivan look back on their improvement as a squad as they gear up for the 2021 campaign.
They also discussed the impact of captaincy on their performances, playing during the pandemic and the growing bond in the squad.
