GERARD Horan from Adare, Co. Limerick was announced as one of four shortlisted candidates for the Head Jambon Taster role currently on offer from Golden Bake, Ireland’s leading frozen bakery retail brand.
Voting is now open for all shortlisted candidates and Golden Bake is encouraging members of the public to vote for their preferred candidate via its Instagram (@goldenbakeireland) from today until Midnight on Wednesday 31st March. The winner will be announced on Thursday 1st April.
Four candidates vying for public vote
Four jambon-lovers who have demonstrated their passion for the cheesy pastry delicacy have been shortlisted by Golden Bake to receive their dream job! They include:
- Gerard Horan, Limerick;
- Hardy-Bucks star Owen Colgan, Mayo;
- Caitriona Barron, Wexford
- Aoife McGrane, Meath
Golden Bakes new Head Jambon Taster will be charged with developing an original limited edition flavour Jambon to join the frozen product range in time for its National Jambon Day (March 18th) celebrations in 2022.
