MUNSTER defeated Cardiff Blues 18-11 last night at Arms Park as Joey Carbery made his long-awaited return to the red jersey.

Joey Carbery come on after 64 minutes and just over ten minutes later the 25 year-old struck a beautiful conversion from the touchline to help himself to a winning return. The 76th minute try came from substitute hooker Niall Scannell following a magnificent Munster maul.
Up next for Munster are inter-provincial rivals Connacht who travel to Thomond Park on Friday the 5th of March (19:35 KO)
