SARAH Lavin joined her Emereld AC running mate Ciara Neville in qualifying for the European Indoor Championships in Poland after her displays in Otstrava last week.
After posting a PB the previous week in Vienna, Lavin knocked 0.03 off her time for third in her heat in Ostrava.
In the race, she would again record a PB with her time of 8.18 in the 60m hurdles which was enough for third place and qualification for next month’s European Championships.
Unfortunatley, Ciara Neville was unable to compete on the day after suffering a strain in the warm-up with the 21-year-old having secured her place at the Euro’s prior to the event.
