AUDIOTONIK is a newly formed collective of Limerick DJs who are streaming their sets live at the weekends and have in a short few months Audiotonik have reached the Top 10 of the Mixcloud Top 100 Charts.
The ethos is to bring quality live DJ streams to the people, from set preparations and programming to high quality sound and visuals, Audiotonik will present live streams on three consecutive Saturday nights from February 6.
The lineup is:
Saturday February 6 – Ger Leo;
Saturday February 13 – Shaq;
Saturday February 20 – Dave Meehan;

The trio have already amassed a significant following for their DJ sets since lockdown began.
“After working on a similar project during the first lockdown, we quickly realised that there was a thirst for underground music from people around the Limerick area and beyond.
At first we didn’t take it too seriously. We just wanted to play out for the love of the music.”
“The feedback we were receiving from people tuning in was fantastic so we felt it was a natural progression to take the next step.”
Since launching in late 2020 on Audiotonik.tv, all three DJs played their debut sets on the ‘Resident Series’.
“We were blown away when we realised that all three sets individually reached the Top 10 of the Mixcloud Top 100 Charts. We didn’t expect this but were delighted with the realisation that AUDIOTONIK was now officially out there and our sets were being listened to from all over.
“This was down to our followers and supporters liking and sharing our sets on their own social media pages and we owe a massive thank you to all of them who tune in religiously for every stream.”
Live streaming DJ sets is a crowded and competitive space and a force to be reckoned with in present circumstances and Audiotonik’s success in building support will push the collective towards a bright future, and hopefully in the near future, live gigs.
“When clubs reopen streaming will continue to play a major part in the industry and we plan on continuing long past the lifting of restrictions. We already have a plan in place to run an Audiotonik night in a venue centrally located in the city when restrictions lift.
“Until then we hope people tune in and enjoy our live sets as much as we enjoy playing them.”
