MUNSTER have tasted defeat for the first time this season after they lost 15-10 to Ulster at Ravenhill this evening.
All of Ulster’s points in the game came in the first half while Darren Sweetnam crossed for Munster late on.
Ulster scored two tries in the victory through Matt Faddes and Ethan McIlroy, while John Cooney landed a conversion and a penalty. Ben Healy responded for Munster.
Faddes went in after just seven minutes after good work from James Hume and Jacob Stockdale. Munster piled on the pressure in the final 20 minutes and were finally rewarded when Sweetnam earned a bonus point with his try..
Jack Crowley, on debut, nailed the conversion that saw Ulster’s winning margin at five points and Munster fall to their first defeat of the campaign.
