THE first doses of the Pfizer/ BioNTech vaccine landed in Ireland today.

Minister Stephen Donnelly was pictured with the first batches of the vaccination and the roll out process will begin in four days.

“When is a fridge worth photographing? When it’s just had Ireland’s first #Covid vaccines put in it.

“The first doses have just arrived and many of them are sitting in that very, very cold fridge. We’ll begin vaccinating in four days. #holdfirm.

“Almost 10,000 vaccinations are here with 30,000 more expected in the next week.” he said.
