INCREDIBLY, Limerick kick off their Munster Championship against Clare this Sunday at Semple Stadium, Thurles.
That tie with Clare brings a welcome return to competitive hurling for John Kiely and his squad as they begin a truncated championship with the game also doubling as a league final decider.
For Kiely, the importance of getting to play the games is not lost on him or his squad.
Ahead of Sunday’s tie, Kiely also spoke about the lockdown, yellow sliotars and the prospect of a winter championship.
