THE Criminal Assets Bureau conducted a search operation in Limerick on the morning of Thursday, 17th September, 2020, targeting the assets and activities of a group suspected to be involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs in Limerick city.
The search operation consisted of the search of three residential dwellings and one business premises, with assistance being provided by members of Detective Unit in Limerick. The searches were conducted under CAB Warrants, Section 14 of the Criminal Assets Bureau Act 1996, as amended.
The search resulted in the seizure of the following assets:
• €58,000 frozen in accounts • €2,450 in cash and £550 in sterling • Twelve watches which included a Rolex, Hublot and Breitling • Financial Documents;
