From contact tracing to food safety management and activity tracking to people and skills tracking, the no-code solution is helping companies embrace a new approach to digital transformation.

Blocworx, headquartered in Annacotty Business Park, Limerick, have announced that they have repurposed their existing offerings to assist with Covid-19 tracing and food safety compliance.

An innovative cloud-based software solution, Blocworx has gained substantial recognition for its ability to quickly create cost-effective powerful digital solutions that can transform any business in a very short time frame.

The software is a no-code solution that offers the customer the option to  build products. Built-in features include custom report generation, data analytics and data displays, email alerts, user role hierarchy, custom forms, fields and rules.

It is used across a wide range of industries and sectors, from manufacturing and facility management, to film and screen skills training, to compliance and healthcare industries and local sports clubs.

Their latest offering, which is a food safety management solution will allow restaurants, catering and food processing companies to remove their paperwork entirely.

With huge savings on time and vastly improved quality management systems in place, the solution will help businesses increase their turnover and quality standards.

The added Covid-19 tracking features integrated in the solution will result in the ability to accurately contact trace customers coming in and out of premises. The system facilitates digital employee health sign-offs that can be completed prior to returning to work.

Additional hygiene and food safety compliance requirements are built into the solution for employees to track activity such as hand washing, daily cleaning routines and kitchen management. The software can also be linked up to infrared thermometers to track and record customers’ and employee’s temperature checks.

Speaking about the launch Adrian De Cléir, CEO and Founder of Blocworx, said, “We had decided at the start of 2020 to launch our brand in April, however, by March we knew it wasn’t going to be a typical product launch so instead we opted to repurpose our solutions for contact tracing and Covid-19 related tracking purposes.

“We found that despite the pandemic there was still an appetite for digital transformation, which makes sense, because now more than ever, businesses are trying to find ways of saving money and making their process more efficient,” he said.

“After we made our sports attendance contact tracing software free of charge for any club in the country to use, we started getting approached by prominent Limerick businesses, notably pubs, restaurants and hotels who had reams of paperwork and daily work sheets that their teams spent hours completing each week.

“We knew right away Blocworx could transform the entire manual processes of these companies.

“We are immensely proud of the capabilities of Blocworx and how far we can stretch it. It is often an exciting challenge when we are presented with a new problem within a business and we get to investigate what aspects of our no-code solution we should use to solve it”.
